Career Description




This position will report to the Business Technology Manager located at DOCR Central Office. The position will apply project management principles, methodologies, standards, and best practices to lead and manage all phases of information technology projects and other types of agency projects. The position is responsible for performing project management duties on medium to large projects using established best practices, tools and guidelines. Projects will cross multiple business units, which have stakeholders with diverse and conflicting needs. Projects will include new, multiple or emerging technologies that will impact the agency. Complex reporting relationships and communication requirements exist at the agency level, enterprise and legislative levels. Project Budgets range from $100,000 to over $1,000,000.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, computer science or related field. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is required within the first year of employment. It is preferred that applicant have project management with large IT projects or projects over one million dollars, experience working in the criminal justice field, and experience with change management principals.

Career Description




The therapist is responsible for providing Brief Strategic Family Therapy Services for families where a child or children are at-risk of out-of-home placement. With a focus on family preservation, this position will utilize philosophy and skills acquired through Brief Strategic Family Therapy model training and passing competency panel. The position will serve the Fargo Metro area, as well as surrounding areas in Southeast ND.

Duties and Tasks

Therapy: Provides family therapy services in compliance with the Brief Strategic Family Therapy model; Serves as advocate for services for families; makes recommendations related to individual treatment as needed. Documentation and Record Keeping: Completes documentation congruent with the BSFT model; when appropriate, will complete Title IV-E billing in the portal; DJS Time logs; timesheets for payroll. Other duties: Participate in consultation sessions, education, and training opportunities; participate in supervision and other agency related meetings; provide testimony on behalf of agency as needed; and all other duties as assigned. The duties of the position does require travel. No on-call requirements. Ability to work remotely/home office. Flexible 40-hour work schedule. Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in mental health, social work, family-marriage area of counseling or related fieldOR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of clinical experience working with families may qualify. Applicants must demonstrate ability in working with ALL family members and have a basic knowledge and understanding of how family systems operate.
