The North Dakota HHS Public Health Division of EMS State Trauma System works in conjunction with stakeholders to reach designation status and improve the trauma system statewide.
North Dakota Century Code 23-01.2-03 states, “Effective January 1, 2011, a hospital that offers emergency services to the public shall meet trauma center designation standards and participate in the trauma system.”
