Steps to Submit a Tip

Use NDTip to communicate anonymously with local law enforcement. We can all play a part in keeping our communities safe!

NDTip is an anonymous, easy to use app for providing information discretely to law enforcement. If you see suspicious activity, either submit a tip through the app or text in to 847411. Be sure to add your law enforcement’s keyword found online along with any information you wish to provide.

To Submit a Tip Through NDTip App:

1. Download the NDTip app on Google Play or App Store
2. Click “SUBMIT A TIP” on home screen
3. Select the agency you wish to notify
4. Enter the subject of your submission
5. Provide the location of the event or activity
6. Include other details such as a photo or video
7. Once your information has been entered, select the “Submit” button.
8. You should receive confirmation your tip was sent, and an officer may respond for more information.

To Submit a Tip Through Text:

1. Open a text message and enter 847411 in the “To” field
2. Find your local law enforcement’s keyword in the table below
3. In the body of the text, enter your keyword, type a space, and then add your tip
4. Include other details such as a photo or video
