Welcome to our member feedback webpage! Medicaid and the Medicaid Member Engagement Committee (MMEC) want to know what you think is working well and what could be improved with ND Medicaid. We invite our members and their caregivers to share thoughts and suggestions. See opportunities to share feedback below.
Listening Session
A listening session is an open invitation to share your thoughts, ideas, and advice on specific topics with an agency that facilitates a program. Often, a listening session will help determine which topics a focus group needs to explore more deeply.
Current Event:
We invite you to help make North Dakota the healthiest state in the nation! We want your feedback on ND Medicaid and your recommendations for the Medicaid Member Engagement Committee’s (MMEC) best practices.
Attendees will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of 15 - $50 gift cards from the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) to show appreciation for their participation.
Join our virtual listening session from 3-4:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Register for ND Medicaid's Virtual Listening Session.
Follow the registration link and complete the registration form. You will receive an invite with a Microsoft Teams link. Place this event in your calendar or use the link on May 6 at 3 p.m. to attend.
Event Outline:
- 3:00 p.m. - 3:05 p.m.: Welcome
- 3:05 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: We will be asking questions around the following topic areas:
- 3:05 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.: Taking suggestions on best practices for the member-based committee, MMEC
- 3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Gathering feedback on member experiences with ND Medicaid

Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) provided funding and support to develop the partnership between ND Medicaid and the Justice Well Program. Through this partnership, HHS is able to host this event. CHCS is providing gift cards to thank members for their time and help.
The Justice Well Program has partnered with us to coordinate these events. The Justice Well program offers tools and support for recovery and behavioral health to individuals impacted by the justice system. We look forward to our work with Justice Well to connect with members across the state and from various walks of life.

A survey is a set of questions that can be answered without sharing who you are. This gives you the freedom to feel like you can share your opinions honestly and without reaction from the survey producer.

Focus Group
A focus group is an invite-based experiences where you can share your thoughts, ideas, and advice on specific topics with an agency that facilitates a program. A focus group discusses specific topics more in-depth than a listening session. Often, a listening session will help determine which topics a focus group needs to explore more deeply.
Current Event:
We invite you to help make North Dakota the healthiest state in the nation! Share your recommendations for MMEC best practices. Attendees will be offered a $50 gift card from the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) to show appreciation for their participation.
Join our virtual focus group from 3-4:30 p.m. CT on Friday, June 13, 2025. Express your interest in ND Medicaid's Virtual Focus Group.
Follow the virtual focus group link and complete the expression of interest form. We will contact you between June 2 through June 6 if you are selected to participate. Place this event in your calendar or use the link on June 13 at 3 p.m. to attend. We are accepting expressions of interest through May 30, 2025.
