North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) will be announcing Jasmin Child Care and Preschool in Fargo as the first participant of the Non-Traditional Hour Child Care pilot program, the state’s latest effort to build public-private partnerships that can help address urgent child care needs.

Media are invited to join HHS Commissioner Wayne Salter, Jasmin Child Care and Preschool and its partners and legislative members to an event to celebrate this milestone on Monday, July 15 at 11 a.m. CT at Jasmin Child Care and Preschool.

The Non-Traditional Hour Child Care pilot is designed to help working parents whose jobs are outside of the typical hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. by providing funding to entities that implement non-traditional hour child care solutions.
