North Dakota Health and Human Services announced that North Central Human Service Center and its regional vocational rehabilitation office in Minot have closed temporarily today, Tuesday, Feb. 25 due to a water line break.
Team members who can work from whom are expected to do so. The building will be open to sign out State Fleet Vehicles.
Staff members are notifying people who had scheduled appointments at the regional human service center or meetings at the facility. Case managers and other team members who provide services directly to clients in the community will meet with them as planned. Crisis services continue to be available 24-hours a day.
IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call 988 for immediate help.
The situation is being monitored and team members will be notified when repairs are completed and the facility will be equipped to re-open.
North Central provides community-based behavioral health services and other services to residents of Burke, Renville, Bottineau, Mountrail, Ward, McHenry and Pierce counties. North Central's Rugby outreach office remains open today.
