Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2024

The N.D. Department of Health and Human Services is requesting public comments on the FFY 2024 Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) State Plan. The current draft plan can be viewed online at www.hhs.nd.gov/applyforhelp/liheap. An eligible household’s adjusted income must fall within the eligibility limits listed below for the household size. The adjusted income of all members of an eligible household cannot exceed:

5 person household: $79,693
6 person household: $90,685
7 person household: $92,746
8 person household: $94,807
9 person household: $96,868
10 person household: $98,929

12 person household: $103,051

Except for the income limits above, there are no substantive changes from the FFY2023 plan. A public hearing on this proposed plan will be held by a virtual Teams meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, 4-5 p.m. CDT. Individuals can join the meeting at (701) 328-0950, conference ID: 772823154#. Comments can also be submitted in writing and must be received by the conclusion of the public hearing meeting on Aug. 9, 2023.
