Goals of the North Dakota Recovery Housing Assistance Program (RHAP)
- Increase the number of supportive recovery housing environments available in ND.
- Establish and reinforce evidence-based best practices in recovery housing.
- Expand individual options for recovery experiences.
- Reduce homelessness.
- Provide housing stability, which indirectly impacts employment.
The Recovery Housing Assistance Program (RHAP) is a state-funded option for individuals wanting to initiate and sustain recovery efforts in a safe, stable living environment. Up to 12 weeks of an eligible individual’s living expenses will be paid directly to a Recovery Housing Assistance Program provider.
