North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) periodically issues updates to ND Medicaid provider and coverage policies.
ND Medicaid posts updates to ND Medicaid provider and coverage policies for a period of two (2) weeks to allow providers and the public to comment on the policy updates. Comments are only accepted on the policy being updated or changed. Revisions to ND Medicaid provider and coverage policies that do not constitute a change from current practice are not posted for public comment.
The comment period will last two (2) weeks; late comments will not be accepted. ND Medicaid will review comments to inform the final policy; ND Medicaid will summarize comments and include a response to comments on this page when the policy is finalized.
ND Medicaid Provider and Coverage Policy Public Comment Process
- Public comment is open for 2 weeks.
- Notifications of the public comment period will be sent via email at the beginning of the 2 weeks.
- A “Notice of Proposed Policy” will be available on the website containing the summary of the policy and the proposed changes.
- Public comments are accepted via email to policyfeedback@nd.gov.
- Comments will inform the final policy and will be compiled into a summary and posted on this website when the final policy is posted on the Guidelines, Manuals and Policies webpage.
