Human Service Center offices in Williston, Watford City, Devils Lake, Rolla and Minot will have a delayed opening Tuesday, Nov. 20 until 10 a.m. due to reduced travel visibility from wind and falling snow. Affected offices include two of the agency’s regional human service centers and their satellite and outreach offices, child support offices and vocational rehabilitation offices. IMPORTANT: The department’s regional human service centers operate 24-hour behavioral health crisis lines. Individuals struggling or in crisis are encouraged to call 988 for immediate help. 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. People looking for community resources and referrals for essential needs may also contact FirstLink by calling 211. 

Delayed opening decisions are made for the safety of clients and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations.  
 
Devils Lake: Lake Region Human Service Center in Devils Lake and its outreach office in Rolla, and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Devils Lake will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Minot: North Central Human Service Center in Minot and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Minot will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Williston: Northwest Human Service Center in Williston and its outreach office in Watford City and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices in Williston will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Weather-related office closure information can be found on the HHS Facebook and Twitter pages and website at hhs.nd.gov. Child support customers can conduct normal business 24-hours a day on the program’s secure website.
