North Dakota Health and Human Services offices in Dickinson will be closed today, Nov. 10, in response to winter weather warnings and hazardous travel conditions.  

Affected offices include the Badlands Human Service Center, the Dickinson regional child support office and the vocational rehabilitation office. Details appear below. 

IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or 211 for immediate help. Both are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

AFFECTED OFFICES:
Dickinson region: Badlands Human Service Center in Dickinson and the regional vocational rehabilitation and child support offices will be closed.  

HHS announced yesterday that several of its offices in Bismarck, Devils Lake, Fargo, Grafton, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Rolla and Valley City are closed today, Nov. 10.

Clients with previously scheduled appointments will be contacted. Office closure decisions are made for the safety of clients and team members and align with closures of other community clinics and government organizations. 

Weather-related office closure information can be found on the HHS Facebook and Twitter pages and website at hhs.nd.gov. Child support customers can conduct normal business 24-hours a day on that division’s secure website at childsupport.dhs.nd.gov.

State offices are closed on Friday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. The department anticipates resuming normal business hours at all locations next week.
