Career Description




As an Engineer, you will be required to provide professional engineering services to plan for and implement maintenance, repair and new construction projects at the Camp Grafton Training Center. You will be responsible for the overall management of small to large projects at the Camp Grafton Training Center. The ideal person for this position will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This position requires professional knowledge of engineering concepts, methods and principles. This is not an all-inclusive list of duties: In this role, you will develop long range major and minor construction programs based on the current master plan. Prepare environmental and construction documents, prepare and design technical architectural and engineering drawings, coordinate with other military and governmental agencies on associated construction/engineering matters. Provide indirect supervision to various contractors and military personnel. Assist in formulating policies and developing engineering plans for design, construction, replacement, rehabilitation and alteration of real property facilities and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture and four years of professional level work experience in engineering, architecture or a closely related field. Individuals must have the ability to be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in North Dakota or registered in another state with eligibility for registration in North Dakota. Successful completion of the interview process, reference check and background investigation. Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
