Lake Region Human Service Center - Devils Lake, ND - Emergency Services Daytime Position**May consider a sign-on Bonus for qualified applicants**Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.In this Emergency Services position, you will conduct crisis stabilization or therapeutic intervention, provide supportive therapy to mitigate crisis situations, develop safety plans for individuals at risk, and assist individuals in obtaining appropriate services, either within or outside agency. You will also coordinate social detox/crisis residential placements, including daily follow-up wih consumers at the crisis stabilization unit, and as well as admissions to the North Dakota State Hospital. This position also provides support to the other regions as needed via telehealth platforms. Schedule will primarily be daytime (M-F), but will also include periodic nighttime coverage as deemed necessary. This position is eligible for a 11% crisis shift differential in addition to the base salary. The salary range that is advertised reflects this increase. Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is seeking a Child Welfare Case Manager (36-40-6536) for the Child Protection Service Unit.As the Child Welfare Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing case management and foster care services to families utilizing the Safety Framework Practice Model. You will also provide wraparound case management services for families with children in foster care or at risk of foster care placement.To succeed in this position, you should be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively and have demonstrated ability to communicate with all types of people. You will need to have a strong understanding of program policies and laws. You will also be comfortable working with all types of software and database applications, with a willingness to learn new technology programs and have an eye for detail.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you much have a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science, nursing, or criminal justice; and two (2) years of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager. A master's degree may substitute for one year of the work experience requirement.ORWe will consider filling this position as a Family Service Specialist II with one of the required degrees above plus one (1) year of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager. A master's degree in one of the above areas may substitute for the work experience requirement.ORWe will consider filling this position as a Family Service Specialist I with one of the required degrees above with no experience. Applicant must have a valid driver's license. Travel may be included on occasion.

Lake Region Human Service Center - Devils Lake, ND - Functional Family Therapist **Sign on Bonus up to 2 months' salary** This position is eligible for a 9% pay differential in addition to the base salary.There are two separate positions. These positions will be working with families all throughout Region III (covering the counties of Ramsey, Rolette, Benson, Cavalier, Towner, and Eddy), so the location of the position can be negotiable as long as there is willingness to travel throughout the entire Region.As a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to families with youth ages 11 through 18 years old who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model is designed to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends.This rewarding career works with adolescents and their families by tailoring services to the individual family using treatment protocols, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach and in-home services. You will function as part of an FFT team and will participate in weekly team supervision and consultation from FFT trained clinicians. As noted previously, this position will be located within Region III and may be eligible for hybrid or in-office/remote work. Typical work schedule includes evenings and the ability to be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of families. Most therapists can build their full-time schedules around their caseload to create an alternate work schedule leaving time for family, schooling, or self-care. We also offer flexibility for classes, internship possibilities within our organization, and the availability for licensure supervision.To thrive in this position, you should be comfortable working with adolescents and families, using cultural responsivity and trauma informed practice. You should also have effective interpersonal and relationships skills and be able to individualize program interventions to utilize adolescent/family strengths.
