Medical Services - Remote in ND - 1915(i) Program Administrator Help ensure quality services are available for those with behavioral health needs. North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a 1915(i) Program Administrator for its Medical Services Division. As the 1915i Program Administrator, you will administer the 1915(i) Medicaid behavioral health services and support program as well as supervise other 1915(i) staff members. You will develop, implement, and oversee processes, policies, and procedures for community-based behavioral health services such as care coordination, peer support, housing, education and employment supports in addition to other services. You will provide training, education, outreach, and consultation to a variety of stakeholders. In addition, you will assess, monitor, and evaluate 1915(i) services and oversee the quality assurance and improvement strategy. To succeed in this position, you should be comfortable and able to communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders, as well as influence and engage stakeholders through various mediums. You are a critical thinker who can identify problems and come up with possible solutions. You should be able to read and research federal regulations and be able to understand and explain how they apply. You should have a team-focused mindset with the willingness to compromise, ask appropriate questions, and provide responses that support timely and quality services for members. 1915(i) is a growing program with opportunities to rethink and reshape how services are delivered to members. A growth-mindset is a quality for successful candidates. To be considered for the 1915(i) Administrator position, you must have a bachelor's degree and two years of related work experience in a health/human service program area. A master's degree in a field related to the position's program responsibility area may substitute for two years of the work experience requirement.
