Essential functions of this position is to help ensure all children who need child welfare services have a safe and secure environment. Mountrail McKenzie Human Service Zone is seeking a Child Protection worker for the Child protection Service Unit.As a Child Protection worker, you will be assigned reports of child abuse/neglect for assessment. Northwest Human Service Center - Williston, ND - Functional Family Therapist This position is eligible for an 9% pay differential in addition to the base salary.**Will consider flexible shifts, including a 4-day work weekAs a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to families with youth ages 11 through 18 years old who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model is designed to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends.This rewarding career works with adolescents and their families by tailoring services to the individual family using treatment protocols, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach and in-home services. You will function as part of an FFT team and will participate in weekly team supervision and consultation from FFT trained clinicians. This position is located in Williston and may be eligible for hybrid or in-office/remote work. Typical work schedule includes evenings and the ability to be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of families. Most therapists can build their full-time schedules around their caseload to create an alternate work schedule leaving time for family, schooling, or self-care. We also offer flexibility for classes, internship possibilities within our organization, and the availability for licensure supervision.To thrive in this position, you should be comfortable working with adolescents and families, using cultural responsivity and trauma informed practice. The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide In Home and Foster Care case management to children and families in Buffalo Bridges Human Service Zone (Barnes & Stutsman Counties). Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, elementary education, early childhood education, special education, child development and family science, human resource management (human service track), or criminal justice, and two years of professional human services work experiences as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager. A Master's degree in one of the areas above may substitute for one year of the work experience requirement. If no qualified applicants are found, we will consider under-filling this position as a Family Service Specialist I - with a minimum salary of $4800.00 per month. Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, elementary education, early childhood education, special education, child development and family science, human resource management (human service track), or criminal justice, and one year of professional human services work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager; or a Master's degree in one of the areas above. Individuals may be required to work non-traditional work hours. The ability to visit persons in their own homes and providing transportation for clients using the employee's own transportation is required for this position.
