Career Description
* Oversee administration of agency IT team * Provide status updates to agency senior management * Coordinate IT activities with partner agencies, system developers and stakeholders* Provide system application development, network and customer service support* Develop and maintain software written in C#, JavaScript, and other programming languages* Create agency IT budget* Oversee IT system security* Manage active directory* Respond to data requests from internal and external customers* Create and modify queries and reports* Support field and office functions of the regulatory and investigative missions of the N.D. Department of Mineral Resources. Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a combination of relevant college coursework and work experience totaling three years. Applicant must have experience in coordinating Information Technology staff activities. Familiarity with functions of desktop computer equipment and system support, maintenance of off the shelf and custom software, website applications, and familiarity with, and experience in the development of, .NET software applications is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Individual initiative and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people is important. The candidate should possess the ability to support computer systems and software development. Experience in creating an Information Technology budget, and software license management, is a plus.
