Medicaid Special Projects Coordinator

Medical Services - Remote in North Dakota - Medicaid Policy and Special Projects Coordinator As a Special Projects Coordinator, you will lead a priority project focused on establishing data connections between Medicaid eligibility systems and correctional facilities in addition to a variety of special projects aimed at enhancing Medicaid program performance, compliance and service delivery. You will work cross-functionally with IT, policy, operations and finance teams to ensure alignment with state and federal regulations while driving strategic initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency. You will manage a new federal grant that is providing funding to create the data connections between Medicaid and correctional facilities. You will develop project plans, set timelines, assign tasks, coordinate with external stakeholders and monitor project progress. You will create reports and presentations to communicate outcomes and provide recommendations. To thrive in this position, you must be able to successfully lead projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and within budget. You should possess strong skills in project management, data analysis, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. In addition, you should be proactive in identifying new opportunities for program improvement, leveraging data to inform decisions and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders. You enjoy building relationships with a variety of organizations, including correctional facilities, health care providers and federal agencies. To be considered for the Special Projects Coordinator position, you must have the following: A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in Medicaid policy, healthcare policy, or public health program management with experience in special projects or grant administration. Knowledge of Medicaid programs, strategies for ensuring continuity of care and access to care, and the ability to read and interpret federal and state regulations. *Additional work experience as described may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
