Public Notice - End of ND Medicaid's Primary Care Case Management Program
Effective on or after January 1, 2024, pursuant to 2023 House Bill 1044, North Dakota Medicaid will be ending the Primary Care Case Management (PCCM) program. Providers will not be required to obtain a referral from a primary care provider (PCP) for instate services. Any service authorization requirements for instate and out-of-state services will still apply. Medicaid expenditures are expected to have a minimal impact for a 12-month period.
