North Central Human Service Center, Open Arms - Minot, ND - Residential Direct Care Assoc - AdultBe part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.As a Residential Direct Care Assoc - Adult working with adults in a residential setting, you will provide positive mentoring and guidance to individuals impacted by behavioral health disorders. You will serve as a role model, exhibiting a positive and respectful approach in all interactions. You will teach daily living activities, including household tasks, hygiene task, effective communication, and socialization with the goal of helping those you serve increase their independence. An important part of this position is assisting the individuals articulate their goals and what is important for them. You will teach self-advocacy and self-help strategies to assist them in reaching their goals. You will thrive in this position if you have a passion for teaching individuals life skills and how to overcome barriers that may be present in their lives. To be considered for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED; and two years of work experience providing direct care to special populations. Will consider filling this position at a reduced pay rate as a Direct Care Associate II: which requires a high school diploma or GED.This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation. Conduct inspections of oil, gas, and produced water gathering lines and associated facilities within the jurisdiction of the Commission.Communicate with operators, contractors, independent inspectors, and surface owners regarding gathering pipeline rules and statutes.Review gathering pipeline GIS data updates to determine inspection scheduling and locate gathering lines.Respond to gathering pipeline leaks and coordinate cleanup with responsible party, surface owner, and reclamation specialist.Inspect the construction, integrity testing, maintenance repairing, reclamation, and abandonment of gathering pipelines to ensure work is done properly.What can we offer you?Stability.Consistent work schedule.Minimal scheduled weekends with occasional on-call or incident response duty.10 paid State Holidays.Health Insurance (Full Premium Paid).Pension.Supplemental Retirement Plan.Great work; life balance-most days end by 5pm with occasional on call or incident response duty.Includes both office and field work.Ability to learn new oil field trends and technology.Work directly with companies in the oil and gas industry.Be part of a team knowing you're achieving a goal to enhance the state and protect its environment.Work routine varies daily.Great North Dakota scenery.Requires flexibility in daily schedule; may require work after normal business hours, on weekends, and on holidays.

Minimum Qualifications

High School degree or a General Education Diploma (GED).Must have a valid driver's license; good driving skills; physical mobility, mental alertness and ability tooperate a four-wheel drive vehicle in all types of weather conditions to meet travel and inspection dutyrequirements.Knowledge working with computers.Knowledge and experience working with hydraulics, motors, pumps, pressure gauges, operating machinerysafely, welding, mechanics, or similar fields.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree with major course work in engineering, mathematics, and/or physical science.Preference will be given to candidates with oil and gas experience.Leadership skills, problem solving, self-discipline, time management, a positive attitude and motivated.Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and GIS mapping software.Ability to work in northern plains climate year-round.
