We are inviting applications for an enthusiastic and skilled Accounting Intern for our Fiscal Services division. Flexibility is offered to accommodate classes and student schedules. Additional hours may be offered based on student availability. The duration of this internship is estimated to be through May but may be extended through August with an increase of hours over the summer but will be determined based on factors such as the student's availability and the needs of the division. Salary: 18.00/hr Location: The position is based onsite at our office location in Bismarck, ND.Summary of Key Duties:The Accounting Intern will gain experience in the following areas:Pension plan salary reporting and compliance.Review and calculate required contributions from employers/members.Assess accuracy of data.Audit existing reports and identify errors or areas for improvement.Exposure to accounting in an institutional investment environment.To be considered for this position, you must be:Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical program within the United States.In pursuit of a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, mathematics, data science, or a related field, at sophomore level or above.Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.Working in an internship that aligns with the student's academic major or career goals.
