The ND Development Fund (NDDF) within Commerce is seeking a full-time Senior Venture and Credit Analyst to manage loan, investment, and grant programs, and present loan, equity and modification requests to the CEO and Board of Directors for the ND Development Fund.As the Senior Venture and Credit Analyst you will:Perform investment and underwriting duties, which include:Implement and manage the day-to-day execution of NDDF's investment underwriting policies, procedures, and guidelines. Perform initial review and analysis of accounts. Lead negotiations of financing packages with applicant companies and investment partners.Prepare investment documents, to include commitment letters and closing documents and working with legal counsel. Oversee the venture and credit analysis process to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic financial objectives and risk management protocols.Perform portfolio maintenance, which includes analysis and review, strategic evaluation, and structural modification proposals.Provide supportive relationship engagement to maintain and nurture relationships with Commerce developers, local developers, and financial organizations. Perform accounting and reporting dutiesManage the Angel Match Program, which includes developing and refining policies and procedures, regulatory reports, investment reviews and analyses of application packages.To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience working in venture capital, business banking, or managing economic development programs.Location: Commerce has a central office location in Bismarck and this position will be working remotely from any North Dakota location. Some travel is required.Hiring Salary Range is $6,648 - $7,500 monthly.
