Career Description
As an Employment Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to job seekers, assisting them in their journey to secure meaningful employment opportunities. Through in-person visit, phone calls, and email correspondence, you will assess clients' employment needs, strengths, skills, interests, career goals, and areas for development. You will provide advice, guidance on resume writing and interview preparation, guidance on navigating the jobsnd.com website and on filing unemployment insurance claim (if needed), Labor Market Information, directing to training opportunities, services, and other resources, ultimately helping clients achieve success in the job market. You will also provide administrative service support including, but not limited to, data entry and processing incoming/outgoing mail.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must:have a high school diploma plusat least four (4) years of work experience performing administrative, customer, or employment services duties that involved providing information and assistance to customers within an organization that offers a variety of products or services. Work experience normally includes receiving and analyzing information, determining the available solution(s), and assisting or directing customers in implementing and completing necessary steps to resolve issues or satisfy inquiries.Related college-level course work may be substituted for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
