With 1/3 of Americans showing signs of clinical anxiety and depression, it is critical that the workplace responds. This training will review workplace wellbeing opportunities, risks to creating a thriving workplace culture, and how to combine individual strengths and wellbeing in efforts to support mental health, resiliency, and thriving.

When the stress and adversity of life feels overwhelming, individuals’ protective factors help them be resilient. Attendees will learn about protective factors that act in both a prevention and intervention capacity. Personal resilience plans will be established by the end of the session.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. People trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

This series introduces trainees to the application of CBT to psychosis and includes a review of the cognitive model and its application in psychosis, core CBT techniques, and how to use formulation-driven CBT to address core characteristics of psychosis (hallucinations, delusions, negative symptoms) as well as co-morbid symptoms (depression, anxiety). We recommend all clinicians / therapists conducting psychotherapy with individuals experiencing psychosis attend this training. Case Managers, skills coaches/counselors, and psychiatric providers may also benefit from this training. /p>

We will explore what is meant by a toxic workplace that may have you experiencing unattainable expectations, emotional harassment, and demands to do more with less. Strategies will be discussed for how to endure and cope in a toxic environment as well as practical tips for dealing with difficult people and demanding situations.
