At the North Dakota Corn Utilization Council (NDCUC), we thrive to be the leading-edge organization influencing producers, researchers, and users of corn by growing a health, profitable business climate for the northern corn industry. We are seeking an Outreach & Educational Intern to assist with communications directors with executing various corn related events. As an Outreach & Educational Intern, you will provide general support to multiple team members by helping with various office tasks. To succeed in this position, you will develop and promote booth displays, create handouts, and coordinate giveaways to enhance event engagement. General office organization and providing support to team members will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to attend exciting NDCUC events, such as Big Iron, KMOT Ag Expo, the Northern Corn and Soybean Expo, and many more! You will assist with research programs and events hosted by NDCUC. Your role will also involve helping to plan and attend visits from trade delegations and participating in farm tours.To be considered for this position, you must be working towards a degree in communications, agricultural communications, agricultural business or in a related field of study at an accredited college, university, or vocational technical program in the United States. Must be at least of sophomore standing by the beginning of the internship (or must have completed the first year of a vocational/technical program by the beginning of the internship) and have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.Salary: hourly pay is $16, 20 hours per weekLocation: Fargo, ND Internship date: 11/1/2024-06/30/2025
