The Juvenile Services Program Director is responsible for staff supervision and supervision of juvenile programming within the living unit. This position provides programs of security, safety, supervision and a structured therapeutic environment in the cottage so juveniles can make a successful transition back into the community. The position assesses and implements applicable Division of Juvenile Services and Youth Correctional Center program management policy and procedures to maintain consistency of facility operation.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Management, or another field with coursework related to the duties and three years of progressively more responsible work experience in a correctional role. Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) is a brief, evidence-based therapeutic approach that is practical, problem-focused, and planned. The goal of BSFT "is to transform interactions from conflictive to collaborative, from anger to love, from negative to positive, and from habitual to proactive. Families change because the love that is trapped behind the anger is allowed to flourish."The therapist is responsible for providing Brief Strategic Family Therapy Services for families where a child or children are at-risk of out-of-home placement. With a focus on family preservation, this position will utilize philosophy and skills acquired through Brief Strategic Family Therapy model training and passing competency panel. Preferred service areas are Eastern ND. Travel in Eastern ND will be required. State fleet vehicles are available for work related travel.

This is an overnight security position. The work hours are 10:00pm-6:00am and workdays rotate on a monthly basis. Position salary starts at $4004 per month. This role involves engaging community stakeholders and tribal leaders to develop and enhance reentry services, identifying and solving reentry barriers, and fostering relationships with community partners. Responsibilities include workforce development, planning reentry service fairs, maintaining a reentry services list, and ensuring quality assurance of reentry processes from arrival. The employee will also oversee comprehensive reentry plans, participate in supporting committees, advance alternatives to incarceration, identify funding needs, prepare legislative testimony, and collaborate with treatment facilities. Additionally, they will coordinate efforts between DOCR, PPPS, and community partners, and engage in strategic planning with state agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in behavioral health, criminal justice, or related field and at least eight years of experience in the criminal justice field, with at least five years of experience in reentry services and/or programs. Strong networking, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential. Preference will be given to applicants with broad corrections experience that includes facility, transitional or reentry, and community supervision.

This position will report to the Chief Administration Officer located at Central Office. The position will apply project management principles, methodologies, standards, and best practices to lead and manage all phases of information technology projects and other types of agency projects. Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or related field. Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and at least 2 years of project management experience. It is preferred that the successful candidate have experience managing IT projects or large projects over a million dollars and experience using change management principals.

As a Parole and Probation Officer, you will provide direct supervision to individuals placed on parole or probation. You will complete intakes on clients, develop case plans, and provide overall management of the client's case. In this position, you may assist in parole investigations for the Parole Board, and other miscellaneous investigations as needed. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications for a Parole and Probation Officer II requires a bachelor's degree with preference given with a degree in a behavioral science, education, business or closely related field and eligibility to be licensed as a peace officer in North Dakota, and three years of work experience directly interacting with individuals in a correctional, law enforcement, social work, education, behavioral health setting OR associate degree with five years of experience directly interacting with individuals in a correctional, law enforcement, social work, education or behavioral health setting. Incumbent must be licensable as a ND Peace Officer under North Dakota Century Code Chapter 12-63, which includes passing the critical task assessment. Incumbent shall attend the first available basic peace officer training recognized by the ND Peace Officers and Training Board (POST Board) ensuring authorization to perform the peace officer duties of a Parole and Probation Officer in accordance with North Dakota Century Code Section 12-59-20. Must have a valid class D driver's license. Must pass a thorough background investigation and criminal record check. Minimum qualifications for the Parole and Probation Officer I require a bachelor's degree, with preference given to degrees in behavioral science, business, education or closely related field OR associate degree with two years of experience directly interacting with individuals in a correctional, law enforcement, social work, education, or behavioral health setting. Must be eligible to be licensed as a peace officer in North Dakota.
