Previous experience providing consultation and training is beneficial to this position. HHS provides a supportive and robust training environment for a psychology resident or newly licensed psychologist. In addition to Board-approved supervision on site, HHS psychologists communicate across our system frequently and offer training and consultation, which allows for sharing expertise and knowledge. This support helps newer psychologists develop evaluation skills in specialty expertise areas that we use in completing psychological evaluations required through ND Century Code within DHHS. To be considered for the Psychologist position, you are required to have a Doctorate in Psychology and licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners, according to North Dakota Century Code Chapter 43-32. If unable to find fully licensed candidates, will consider filling the position as a Psychology Resident which requires a Doctorate degree in Psychology and eligibility for a supervised psychological residency as determined by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.
