Workforce Safety & Insurance is seeking a Medical Bill Auditor to review, process, and audit submitted medical billings to ensure appropriate reimbursement by WSI.The Medical Bill Auditor creates value and makes an impact with these job duties:Review and process medical bills according to national coding guidelines and established policies and procedures.Review medical documentation to confirm correct medical codes are submitted on the billed charges and documentation supporting the compensable injury.Confirm prior authorization requirements are met for services provided as appropriate.Ensure the WSI fee schedule or contracted agreement rate is applied correctly.Process approved adjustments and reconsideration requests; initiate adjustments when audit findings merit such action.Reporting suspected fraud and abuse.Maintain medical bill review manuals, policies, and procedures to ensure they reflect current laws and regulations.Review new medical procedures, technology, equipment, and medical codes to recommend coverage and reimbursement levels to the supervisor.Respond to provider inquiries with questions relating to coding, documentation, procedures, and payer requirements.Resolve provider reimbursement payment issues.

Minimum Qualifications

To prosper in this position, an associate degree in a health-related field and two years of work experience processing, auditing, or coding medical claims.Relevant work experience in processing, auditing, or coding medical claims may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Current CPC Certification (Certified Professional Coder) or CPC certification eligible.Knowledge of the insurance industry, therapy coding, billing, or documentation.Confident, articulate, and professional verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Dependable, organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible.WSI holds our agency culture in high regard. At the North Dakota Department of Transportation, we owe our success to our Team and processes. As an Engineering Technician IV in the Materials and Research Division, you position will be vital to the gravel prospecting section as a member of the drilling crew. Gravel prospecting ensures contractors have access to economical aggregate sources on large construction projects. You will help find, secure, sample, test, and document aggregate sources for specific road construction projects. The ideal person for this position will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and attention to detail with previous experience in sampling and testing materials. You will be responsible for using track or truck mounted drilling rigs to conduct soil surveys and bridge soil borings. Primary duties associated with this position are as follows: Geotechnical Site Investigation: Investigations are conducted for roadway improvement projects, borrow sites, new structure construction, large embankment fills, and others requiring knowledge of the in-place properties of soil for design and construction. Use track or truck mounted drilling rigs.Gravel Prospecting: Gravel prospecting is performed to locate and secure gravel sources that can be utilized on DOT construction projects. Performing drilling operation using a truck mounted drilling rig to obtain aggregate samples.Field Data Collection: Assist with field data collection including operating equipment and compiling data. Sampling and Testing Materials: Assist with sampling of materials and testing materials in the M&R Concrete, Bituminous, Soils and Aggregate labs. Perform equipment maintenance & minor repairs and assist with building and grounds maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires six years' work experience related to the engineering technician duties listed. College-level course work and/or degree in an engineering or related field reflecting the required abilities for this position may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.Requires a valid North Dakota Class B CDL driver's license within 6 months of hire.Overnight travel is required for this position.Ability to lift and/or carry up to 80 lbs.Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process and the required drug test, medical screening, reference check and driving records check.

The individual in this position will act as an entry or mid-level engineer and will provide assistance to administration of the programs of the Department of Water Resource's Regulatory Division. The Engineer performs a wide variety of duties associated with water resource management and regulation.

Duties and Tasks

Review submittals and prepare written recommendations for complex civil and water resources related projects.Complete engineering analyses, calculations, and site investigations to support recommendations.Assume project management duties of permit application reviews for levees, dikes, flood control projects, drainage projects, water-related complaints and appeals, and other water resource determinations.Provide assistance, education, and outreach to the general public, political subdivisions, and other agencies, as well as engineering and legal professionals regarding North Dakota's water resource regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

The Custodian performs custodial services for all assigned buildings at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Bismarck, ND. Duties include providing consistent custodial services while adhering to safety practices and procedures. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.This temporary position of the Custodian will assist the Custodial Supervisor in maintaining and restocking supplies. The Custodian will perform cleaning of restrooms, hallways, classrooms, sweep, mop, scrub floors and other surfaces, vacuum and clean carpets and entrance mats, strip, seal and wax floors, wash windows etc.Work hours are from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and may be required to work some weekends or additional hours if needed.
