This position is to assist the child welfare staff in the day-to-day administrative tasks and transportation needs of clients. The duties include compiling medical and educational records of the clients, assist on foster care cases in completing necessary paperwork and applications packets, assist with tribal enrollment, verification and active efforts to support reunification. The position will involve ongoing parent and relative searches including reaching out to relatives and fictive kin to support ongoing connections and potential placements for children under the custody of the zone. The job will also entail connecting clients to supportive services in our and surrounding communities which will assist in providing stability, growth and overall client wellbeing. Transportation of clients will be provided as needed. The ability to interact with clients, build report and engage with other professionals is vital. This position will also be vital in maintaining our records documentation systems.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent or a combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid Drivers License. Demonstrated experience in office support, customer service or additional related education as dictated by the hiring agency.

The Juvenile Services Program Director is responsible for staff supervision and supervision of juvenile programming within the living unit. This position provides programs of security, safety, supervision and a structured therapeutic environment in the cottage so juveniles can make a successful transition back into the community. The position assesses and implements applicable Division of Juvenile Services and Youth Correctional Center program management policy and procedures to maintain consistency of facility operation.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Management, or another field with coursework related to the duties and three years of progressively more responsible work experience in a correctional role. Applicants with a High School diploma or GED and seven years' work experience in corrections, law enforcement, security, or military may be considered.

This is an overnight security position. The work hours are 10:00pm-6:00am and workdays rotate on a monthly basis. Position salary starts at $4004 per month.
